Moshe Chaiton Named AMAFA Risk Adviser of the Year 2026

AMAFA (Australian Mortgage & Financial Advisers, AFSL 389206) is the licensee Safety Nest advises under. Its Excellence Awards, announced each year, recognise standout performers across its network of mortgage brokers and financial advisers. Risk Adviser of the Year is the category for personal risk insurance: life insurance, TPD, trauma insurance and income protection, which is exactly the work Safety Nest does all day, every day.

The 2026 winners were announced alongside categories including Adviser of the Year, Practice of the Year and Rising Star. The full list was published by AdviserVoice.

This is not Moshe's first time on this list. In 2025, within seven months of starting his own practice, AMAFA named him its Rising Star. Backing that up a year later with Risk Adviser of the Year says something we care about: the standard did not dip once the practice grew. It got better.

Awards do not pay claims, and no trophy will ever matter to a family as much as an insurer saying yes when the worst case arrives. So here is how we read it.

Risk advice is mostly invisible work. The fine print on a TPD definition gets read properly, life insurance gets structured so it pays the way it should, and someone stays in the client's corner at claim time instead of disappearing once the policy starts. Nobody claps for any of that day to day. Which is why it means a lot when your own licensee, the people who check your work all year round, point at one adviser and say: this is the standard.
