We are looking for an experienced Senior Risk Adviser who shares our passion for client-centered solutions and can provide expert advice to our growing client base. Role Overview:

  • Client Advisory: Provide comprehensive risk advice to high-net-worth individuals, families, and business clients, focusing on life insurance, income protection, TPD and trauma cover.
  • Tailored Solutions: Develop personalised insurance strategies based on detailed risk assessments, ensuring clients are adequately protected while maximising cost-efficiency.
  • Policy Reviews: Regularly review existing client policies, identifying gaps in coverage and recommending adjustments to optimize protection and cost.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and advice as their needs evolve.
  • Claims Assistance: Offer expert guidance throughout the claims process, advocating on behalf of clients to ensure a seamless experience and fair outcomes.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all client advice, communications, and processes are fully compliant with industry regulations and standards.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior advisers, sharing your knowledge and experience to support their development and ensure the delivery of high-quality advice across the team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in risk advising, with a strong understanding of life insurance, trauma, TPD and income protection products.
  • Qualifications: Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) or equivalent. A tertiary qualification in finance or insurance is highly regarded. Must have passed the FASEA exam.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for clients.
  • Sales & Business Development: A proven track record of generating new business and managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.
  • Client-Centric Approach: A genuine passion for helping clients protect their families and businesses, with a focus on delivering tailored, client-specific solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess client needs and develop comprehensive, personalized risk solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of risk products, legislative changes, and market trends that may impact clients.
  • Team Player: A collaborative team member who is willing to share knowledge, support others, and contribute to a positive team culture.
